1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the website https://coconutlandholidays.com/ and/or booking a tour package with Coconut Land Holidays (“we,” “us,” “our”), you (“the Client,” “customer,” “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

2. Booking and Payment

  • Booking: A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a non-refundable advance deposit (typically 25-50% of the total tour cost).

  • Payment: The remaining balance must be paid 15-30 days before the tour start date. Failure to do so may result in booking cancellation with applicable cancellation charges.

  • Payment Methods: We accept bank transfers, credit/debit cards, and other methods as listed on our website. All transactions are secure.

3. Pricing
All tour prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) or US Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without prior notice until a booking is confirmed. Prices are based on costs at the time of quoting (including transport, hotel, and forex rates). We reserve the right to amend prices in case of unforeseen circumstances such as fuel price hikes, new government taxes, or fluctuations in exchange rates.

4. Cancellation by the Client
Cancellation must be communicated in writing. The cancellation date will be the date we receive the written notice. Cancellation charges will apply as follows:

  • Before 30 days of tour date: Retention of advance deposit.

  • Between 15-30 days before tour date: 50% of total package cost.

  • Less than 15 days before tour date: 100% of total package cost (No refund).

  • No-show: 100% cancellation charges.

5. Cancellation & Changes by Coconut Land Holidays

  • We reserve the right to cancel a tour for reasons beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, political instability, insufficient bookings). In such cases, a full refund of the amount paid will be issued.

  • We may be forced to change or alter an itinerary, accommodation, or mode of transport due to unforeseen operational difficulties. We will strive to provide a suitable alternative of similar standard. No refunds will be provided for minor changes.

6. Client Responsibilities

  • Travel Documents: It is the client’s sole responsibility to carry valid travel documents, including photo ID, visa, medical certificates, and travel insurance.

  • Conduct: The client agrees to abide by the laws and regulations of India. We are not liable for any problems arising from the client’s misconduct.

  • Health: The client must ensure they are medically fit for the tour. We are not liable for any accidents, illnesses, or health issues incurred during the tour.

7. Liability

  • Coconut Land Holidays acts as an intermediary between the client and third-party service providers (hotels, airlines, houseboat owners, cab operators).

  • We are not liable for any loss, injury, damage, accident, delay, or irregularity arising from the fault or negligence of any third-party service provider.

  • Our liability is limited to the total value of the tour package booked by the client.

8. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident, loss of baggage, and flight delays.

9. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, floods, fires, or government restrictions.

10. Itinerary Changes
The itineraries presented on our website are sample templates. The final itinerary provided in the offer is the binding document. While we make every effort to adhere to the final itinerary, we reserve the right to change the sequence of activities or routes due to weather conditions, political unrest, or other operational constraints.

11. Complaints
Any complaint must be brought to the immediate attention of our local representative during the tour to allow us the opportunity to resolve it. Claims submitted after the completion of the tour will not be entertained.

12. Jurisdiction
Any legal disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kochi, Kerala, India.

13. Website Use

  • The content, imagery, and logos on our website are the intellectual property of Coconut Land Holidays.

  • Prices and availability on the website are subject to change and are not a guaranteed offer.
